Abstract. Inthis seminar, I would like to use a recent experience of my successfulsubmission to the Academy Journal ofManagement – Sun, Hu, & Hillman (2016), THE DARK SIDE OF BOARDPOLITICAL CAPITAL: ENABLING BLOCKHOLDER RENT APPROPRIATION – to reflect on howto publish a Chinese context paper in top management journals. Specially, myreflections will range from research design, to theory and hypothesesdevelopment, to collaboration with co-authors, and to the management of thewhole submission, review, and revision process. Particular emphasis will beplaced on the challenges of linking the Chinese context to “mainstream”management theories, with the plausible claim of making novel and solidtheoretical contributions.

主講人簡介：孫霈教授擁有北京大學經(jīng)濟學學士、英國劍橋大學經(jīng)濟系經(jīng)濟學碩士、英國劍橋大學Judge商學院管理學（商業(yè)經(jīng)濟學與戰(zhàn)略）博士學位， 2005年至2007年為英國諾丁漢大學商學院助理教授。2007年底入選復旦大學“高層次人才引進計劃”，進入復旦大學bwin必贏唯一官網(wǎng)工作。2009年獲“上海市浦江人才”稱號，2010年度復旦大學bwin必贏唯一官網(wǎng)青年教師新星獎獲得者,2012年獲復旦大學bwin必贏唯一官網(wǎng)MBA教學評估一等獎，2015年獲復旦大學bwin必贏唯一官網(wǎng)優(yōu)秀科研獎,2016年獲上海市曙光學者稱號。孫霈教授的主要研究方向為全球化與制度轉型中的企業(yè)戰(zhàn)略、公司治理、產(chǎn)業(yè)組織、產(chǎn)業(yè)政策及產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展等。他的研究獲國家自然科學基金及社會科學基金資助，并在國內(nèi)外著名學術期刊（如《經(jīng)濟研究》、Academy of ManagementJournal, Academy of Management Perspectives, Cambridge Journal of Economics,Economics Letters, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal ofManagement, Journal of Management Studies, Management & OrganizationReview, World Development）發(fā)表多篇頗具影響力的學術論文。他關于我國企業(yè)戰(zhàn)略發(fā)展、產(chǎn)業(yè)升級與轉型、及公司治理的學術觀點見于《第一財經(jīng)日報》、《國際金融報》、《文匯報》、第一財經(jīng)頻道《頭腦風暴》、英國《金融時報》中國峰會等媒體，并曾為多家跨國公司及國內(nèi)知名企業(yè)提供高管培訓與戰(zhàn)略咨詢。
