【摘要】:

Sponsored search advertising (SSA) or keyword advertising has become one of the most popular forms of online advertising and in turn the primary revenue source for Web search engine companies. One critical operational decision facing online advertisers is concerned with allocation of limited advertising budget. In particular, dealing with multiple keyword search markets over multiple decision periods poses significant decision-making challenges. In our talk, we will present a novel optimal budget allocation model across search advertising markets under a finite time horizon. One key element of our modeling work is developing a customized advertising response function when considering distinctive features of sponsored search, including the quality score and the dynamic advertising effort. We derive a feasible solution to our budget model and study its properties. Computational experiments are conducted on real-world data to evaluate our budget model and perform parameter sensitivity analysis. Experimental results indicate that our budget allocation strategy significantly outperforms the baseline strategy commonly used in SSA campaigns.

【曾大軍研究員簡介】：

曾大軍，男，博士、中國科學(xué)院自動化研究所研究員、博士生導(dǎo)師，復(fù)雜系統(tǒng)管理與控制國家重點實驗室副主任，1970年生。1985年進(jìn)入中國科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)少年班學(xué)習(xí)。1990年獲系統(tǒng)科學(xué)與經(jīng)濟(jì)管理及計算機(jī)系學(xué)士學(xué)位。1990年-1992年就讀于中國科技大學(xué)研究生院。于卡內(nèi)基·梅隆大學(xué)（Carnegie Mellon University）商學(xué)院和機(jī)器人研究所獲碩士（1994）、博士（1998）學(xué)位。博士畢業(yè)后任亞利桑那大學(xué)管理信息系統(tǒng)系助理教授、副教授（終身教職）。該系在US News and World Report專業(yè)排名中一直名列前4名。2007年3月入選中國科學(xué)院百人計劃，2010年獲國家杰出青年科學(xué)基金資助。

曾大軍研究員的主要研究方向是多智能體系統(tǒng)、競拍與談判、公共衛(wèi)生信息學(xué)、文本挖掘及動態(tài)社會網(wǎng)絡(luò)分析。他在主流國際學(xué)術(shù)組織中（IEEE/INFORMS）擔(dān)任重要的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)職位并任多個國際會議的主席或程序委員會主席。他是多個國際重要期刊雜志的編委和專刊特邀編輯，現(xiàn)任人工智能領(lǐng)域頂級期刊IEEE Intelligent Systems的主編。

曾大軍研究員主持過多項由國家自然科學(xué)基金委、科技部、衛(wèi)生部、中國科學(xué)院及美國國家科學(xué)基金委資助的大型科研項目。他在信息系統(tǒng)、管理與計算機(jī)科學(xué)等領(lǐng)域共編輯了19本學(xué)術(shù)專著，發(fā)表了近250余篇學(xué)術(shù)論文，SCI總引用數(shù)超過1千次，谷歌學(xué)術(shù)索引總引用數(shù)近5千次，并獲得多項國際會議最佳論文獎。他指導(dǎo)的博士生曾獲國際信息系統(tǒng)方面最具權(quán)威的ICIS最佳博士論文獎。
