Abstract：We’re entering the Analytics 3.0 phase where enterprises are making decisions at quantum 

speed using the powerful combinations of advanced analytics techniques against big data. This 

revolution shift brings businesses

 tremendous opportunities for developing new competencies and achieving successes. This presentation 

summarizes some major initiatives North Carolina academics and businesses have been taking to 

demonstrate the development and impact of data analytics in the US. Examples of potential data analytics 

research in China are discussed at the end.

薛雅炯教授簡(jiǎn)介

薛雅炯現(xiàn)為East Carolina University商學(xué)院管理信息系統(tǒng)系副教授（終身教授），醫(yī)療衛(wèi)生管理系統(tǒng)研究中心副主任。是Communications of the AIS (CAIS)的副編。曾擔(dān)任多個(gè)國(guó)際會(huì)議的Track Chair或副編輯（如：PACIS、ICIS等）10余次。主要研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)樾畔⒓夹g(shù)管理中的社會(huì)行為學(xué)現(xiàn)象等。薛雅炯在國(guó)外學(xué)術(shù)刊物上發(fā)表大量論文。在MISQ、ISR、JMIS、JAIS四大國(guó)際頂尖信息系統(tǒng)學(xué)術(shù)期刊發(fā)表論文10余篇。
