Zhifeng Yang教授簡介：

Zhifeng Yang is a professor in The State University of New York at Stony Brook, he is an associate editor of China Journal of Accounting Research and he is a member of the editorial board of China Journal of Accounting Studies. He has published many papers in top journals, such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, etc.

講座內(nèi)容：

工傷事故給企業(yè)、職工家庭和整個社會都帶來很大代價，是影響企業(yè)社會責(zé)任業(yè)績的重要因素?，F(xiàn)有會計和財務(wù)文獻主要研究公司的資源和業(yè)績壓力對工傷事故發(fā)生率的影響。本文研究公司內(nèi)部治理、也就是總部對工廠的監(jiān)督與指導(dǎo)，對工廠工傷事故的影響。我們發(fā)現(xiàn)當(dāng)總部到工廠的旅行時間縮短之后，工廠的事故發(fā)生率就會顯著下降。這是因為當(dāng)總部管理人員能更方便快捷地到工廠后，他們可以獲取更多有關(guān)工廠狀況的信息，從而加強總部對工廠的治理。具體地說，當(dāng)總部對工廠實際情況了解更多之后，總部能夠及時監(jiān)督指導(dǎo)工廠人員進行安全生產(chǎn)、適當(dāng)調(diào)配資源以加大對工廠生產(chǎn)安全方面的投資以及根據(jù)工廠實際情況來設(shè)立合理的業(yè)績要求，從而降低了工廠的工傷事故發(fā)生率。
